Good Times in Cape Cod

Hello from Cape Cod. I am having such a great time visiting with my Nana Kris and Craigsville Beach. She bought me a bunch of toys to play with and one of my favorites is a sled. I've been doing some lawn and sand sledding with it and its a blast.

Mommy's friend Vicky and her son Mason are here visiting too. Mason is so much fun and keeps me entertained all day. One day at the beach his mommy buried him in the sand, it was so funny!

Last night we had lobster for dinner and I played with them before Nana Kris put them in a pot and boiled them. Mommy didn't like that too much and felt sorry for them. The guy at the store told her "that's how God wanted it" when she told him she felt sorry for them.

Today my Auntie Amber and her boyfriend Dan came to town so we decided to spend an extra day in Cape Cod and visit with them. Tomorrow we head back to Natick, MA to spend more time with my grandparents there and then home on Friday. Even though I'm having a blast, I miss my daddy and wake up every morning saying "Da Da":(.

Anyway, enjoy my pictures. I'll have more to post later this week.

New England Vacation

Hello from New England,
I'm having a great time on my New England vacation. We started out visiting my grandma, grandpa and great-grand parents in Natick, MA for a couple of days. The night we arrived we had a huge thunder and lightening storm which scared the heck out of mom and dad but I slept right through it.

Then we came down to Cape Cod to Craigsville Beach to visit my other grandmother, Nana Kris. We went to a barbeque on Friday at one of Nana Kris's friends house on a golf course and we watched fireworks after dinner. Then on July 4th we hung out with mommy's friends that were here visiting with their two kids, Sam and Jack. I had fun playing with them all day.
And on Sunday Nana and Popa took us on a train ride that took us across Cape Cod and served us brunch. It was really fun.

Unfortunately, Daddy had to leave this morning to go back home and work. But as he says, "somebody's gotta earn some money so me and mommy can take vacations"! Today its beautiful again and so we're going to the beach all day. Mommy's other friend Vicky and her son Mason are now here visiting and I can't wait to play with Mason at the beach with my sand toys.

Here are some pictures of our trip so far. I'll have plenty more later this week.

11 months and counting...

Today is my 11 month birthday! Time flies when you're
having fun. I have hit so many milestones over the past month and everyday I change. This past month I started to take my first steps (up to 10 so far), got my top four front teeth and a new bottom one, and have started saying more words like doggie (da gee), yum and mama. And tonight, I started shaking my head "no" when mommy and daddy say it to me. Oh, and I also started dancing when I hear music.

I am loving living in Washington too. I have a bunch of new friends that I play with almost daily and I go to new parks every week with my friends. We also go for lots of walks with the dogs and into town for dinner at night.

I'm pretty much done with baby food. I like eating whatever mommy and daddy eat. My favorite things right now are cheerios for breakfast, yogurt and fruit for lunch, and chik n' nuggets (vegetarian) or vegie burger and some kind of vegetable for dinner. Oh, and Puffs are my favorite snack. Mommy buys me all different flavors and I snack on them throughout the day.

Since I love playing in the dirt so much lately mommy bought me a sand/water box this week. It is so much fun. Now I can mix water and dirt whenever I want (see pics below).

This week we're heading to Boston and Cape Cod to visit my grandparents and other family. I can't wait to go to the beach and play in the sand.

Talk to you soon,

I love Dirt

My latest obsession is dirt. I can't get enough of it and want to play in it all the time. So yesterday when mommy wasn't looking (and I couldn't go outside because it was raining) I noticed the plant in the kitchen had some dirt. I decided to dig into it, eat some, and throw the rest on the floor.
Here's a picture of me when mommy finally figured out why I was so quiet in the kitchen.

Can't wait to go to the beach next week in Cape Cod. I'm going to have a blast digging in the sand.

Happy Father's Day Daddy, I Love You!!

For Father's day my friends Kendall and
Jacob and I got together and painted picture frames for our daddy's. It was so much fun getting messy (and trying to eat the paint). Here are some pictures of me painting my first masterpiece, picking out my paint colors and getting messy.

Happy Father's Day to the best daddy ever! I love you very much.
