Early Christmas for me!

Today we celebrated Christmas before we head out to Kansas to visit family and celebrate again with them!

Santa brought me really cool toys like a new table and chairs, a roller coaster, a Thomas the Train set and an easel that I can paint and draw on.

Here are a few videos of me testing out my new toys this morning.

I'm sure I'll have plenty more to show you by next week.

Merry Christmas!

Walking the Dogs

One of my favorite things to do now is walk the dogs. I insist on holding the lease and walking one of them myself. I hate when mommy tries to help me.

Here's some video of me walking Captain Girl to the park this morning. I also included a video of me reading a very important invitation we received in the mail.

Countdown to Christmas is on!

Talk to you soon,

Holiday Party Fun

This past weekend we had a holiday party at our house with our new friends here in WA. It was so fun to have lots of kids to share my toys with. My grandma and grandpa sent me this really cool guitar for Christmas (and mom and dad let me open it early) that I was showing off to everyone at our party.

Here are some pictures of me and my friends playing at our party. Oh, and some of mom and dad's friends too.

The day after the party we had snow and there's also a picture of our house with snow on it.

Only 10 days until Christmas!

Purses, belts and shopping oh my!

Lately I've been pretending to be mommy and daddy alot. I like to put a belt on every morning like daddy does when he gets ready for work. Then I like to carry my new purse around with my cell phone in my ear while I pretend to shop.

Here are some pictures and video of me pretending to be a grown up.

O' Christmas Tree

This weekend we went and cut down our Christmas tree. Mom and Dad didn't realize how big the tree was until we got home and set it up. It's huge! Daddy was able to squeeze it through the front door though and it's sitting in our family room waiting to be decorated. I hope I get to help with that.

This Christmas thing is getting exciting. Today Daddy took me to the mall with him while mommy stayed home and baked Christmas cookies. I can't wait to see what's next!

Happy Post-Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. We had a great day yesterday cooking and entertaining some of our friends at our house for Thanksgiving dinner. As you can see by the pictures, daddy and I got up early to get the bird ready. I actually didn't eat anything but chex mix (my favorite!) all day because I'm getting more teefers and I lose my appetite when my gums hurt. For some reason though, it doesn't hurt to eat Chex mix:)

Next up, Christmas!! Can't wait.

Talk to you soon,

Seattle Children's Museum

Yesterday mom & dad took me to the Seattle Children's Museum. There were so many fun things to play with. My favorite things are driving cars, buses and anything with a steering wheel. I hope Santa brings me something like that for Christmas.

Here are some pictures of my day of play:

Non-stop Play

Since the weather turned ugly this past month mommy's Stroller Strides workout has been moved to indoors at the community center. I like it because after class ends I get to play in the kids area with all the cool toys they have.

I also started playing a new game with daddy called "high five". We run back and forth and touch decorative pots in our dining room and in between we high five each other! Its really fun and wears me out.

Here are some videos of me in play mode:

Skiing Here We Come

Yesterday we took a ride up to the local ski resort to check it out. Mom and Dad are very excited that it took only 20 minutes to get there and I was just in awe of all the snow. They can't wait to start skiing again after taking 2 years off to have me:).

Here are some pictures of The Summit Ski Resort where I guess I'll be learning how to ski or at least go sledding this winter.

It's Snowing!!!

Yesterday was very exciting, I saw my first snow! It didn't stay around too long, but it was fun to watch. Today its sunny so not sure when we'll see it again, but hopefully soon. Mommy said she needs to get some snow pants so next time we can go outside and play.

Here are some pictures/video of the snow in our yard and on the mountain. Oh, and I threw in a video of me mastering coming down the stairs.

Riding My Horsey

I finally learned how to ride my horsey. I've had it for a long time, but didn't really like it until Daddy removed the baby seat and now I can ride bare saddle:) Check it out.

Trick or Treat

Last night was sooo much fun! We had a Halloween party at our house and then we all went out trick or treating. I even let mommy put my costume on after I saw all the other kids in theirs.

Here's some pictures of our fun night!

Happy Halloween

So far this week I've been to two Halloween parties with mommy and tonight we're having one at our house. I've refused to put on my bumble bee costume so mommy had to buy me some festive candy corn leggings and Halloween socks to wear instead.

Below are a few pictures of our mommy group parties at our library and the community center. At both parties I made a trick or treat bag and ate cupcakes. There's also a picture of me with my friend Molly who was dressed as a flower.

Mom's hoping she'll get me into the bumble bee costume tonight for a little trick or treating with our friends. We'll see....
