My latest fascination

Mommy bought me this new exesaucer toy and it blows away my bouncy seat! There are so many things to play and suck on I can't stand it! Sometimes when I can't get things in my mouth I get really frustrated, but overall its my new favorite thing.

Oh, and check out my new San Jose Sharks jammies daddy bought me at the game the other night. Mommy thinks I look like a boy in them, but let daddy put them on me anyway.

Ho, Ho, Ho

Today mommy and daddy took me to meet Santa Claus. I was a very good girl and loved sitting on his lap and pulling on his beard. I can't wait to see what he is going to bring me. I hope lots of toys and cute clothes.

Wow, what a whirlwind trip I just took to visit my family on my mom's side in Massachusettes. We stayed at my grandma and grandpa Kelly's house and met about 30 different family members while we were there. I had so much fun meeting everyone and wish I could see them more often.
I hit a new milestone while on vacation. I ate cereal for the first time. I also learned to drink out of mommy's water bottle. She noticed me staring at her water bottles all the time so she decided to let me try some. Now everytime she drinks water I get to have some too. I love it! Mommy says she is going to get me a sippie cup to try since I don't like baby bottles.

Well enjoy the pictures of our trip.

Next up, Kansas!

Rolling Over and drinking vino

Well I hit a new milestone this past week. I began rolling over from my belly to my back. I haven't quite manuevered the back to belly yet, but i'm working on it.

And yesterday I went wine-tasting for the first time. Mom and dad wanted to expose me to one of their favorite past-times. Mommy couldn't really taste because she was the designated driver, but they bought a bunch to bring home so I'm sure she'll be doing some tasting this week:).

Anyway, here's some video of me rolling over and a picture of me trying to get my hands on a glass of wine.

Laughing out loud

Tonight while chillin with mom and dad I started laughing out loud for the first time. Mom and dad were in hysterics over it and then cried over how cute it was.

They're crazy. If they only knew I was laughing at them, not with them:).

My first mini-vacation - Costa Noa

This weekend we went on an overnight vacation as part of daddy's birthday gift. Mommy took us to this place called Costa Noa, http://www.costanoa.com/site.php. I guess they have been wanting to go there for years to check it out so mommy thought it would be fun. Unfortunately, it rained like cats and dogs on Saturday so we weren't able to go hiking or anything. Instead mommy and daddy went to the spa and had massages! Then we all went to dinner and everyone at the restaurant kept telling mommy and daddy what a beautiful baby I was and what a sweet temperment I have because I sat there chillin' all through dinner. Mommy told them I take after daddy:).

On Sunday we woke up and it had stopped raining so we were able to go for a hike to see the famous elephant seals at Ano Nuevo State Park, http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=523. It was a long walk out to the beach where they hang out but daddy carried me in the baby Bjorn and I slept the entire way.
We had a great time and I can't wait until our next vacation together. Mommy already booked a week at our timeshare in Cabo for next June! By then I'll be able to swim in the pool so I'm really excited.

Talk to you soon. Go Obama!!

Mom and Dads 4th Wedding Anniversary

Today is mommy and daddy's 4th wedding anniversary and daddy went crazy and bought mommy a ginormous flower arrangement that I want to show you. He is the best daddy and husband ever!
According to About.com, http://marriage.about.com/cs/anniversaries/a/wedannivideas.htm, the traditional 4th wedding anniversary gift is flowers or fruit.
Can't wait to see what he gets her next year!

Talk to you soon,

My first Halloween party

Today mommy took me to daddys office at Google. We visited with lots of daddy's co-workers and then got dressed up and went to the kids Halloween party. Unfortunately, it started raining so we didn't stay very long.

Jack dog was already there with daddy and he was so funny when he saw us. He couldn't figure out why we were there too but he was really excited. He loves going with daddy to work and mommy says he runs around like he owns the place.

Happy Halloween,

Daddy's 41st Birthday

Yesterday was daddy's 41st birthday (boy is he old!) and mommy threw him a dinner party with some of their friends. Mommy said it was much smaller than the big party she threw him last year, but that was his big 4-0 so it required a big blow out.

I socialized for a while and then fell asleep at the table so daddy had to put me to bed. Anyway, here are some pictures from the evening festivities.

Enjoy!

Yesterday we went to my daycare center for our first "social" to get to know the other families. Everyone was really nice and I got to meet my other classmates. We all have our own cribs that we can decorate with pictures and blankies and stuff.

My favorite parts are the art room and the outside play area. I can't wait to get my hands on all the cool and interesting things they have in the art room. And the outside play area has tons of room for me to run around, a really cool playground/jungle gym area, a garden area where I can plant things and a sand/water area where I can get nice and muddy. My teachers said they would take me out there to hang out and see stuff until I'm big enough to walk on my own.
Well enjoy the pictures.

Mommy took some pictures so I can show you what everything looks like. I'll have my own crib that I can decorate with pictures and blankets and stuff. That way I won't miss my mommy and daddy when I'm there.
