Here are some pictures of my nursery that daddy worked on for months and mommy decorated. I love it in there even though I don't sleep there yet. Daddy puts me in the crib so I can listen to the ladybugs and watch them spin around.

Summer's Third Day at Home

Today is my third day home with my mom and dad and I'm really happy. I keep my mommy busy feeding me and daddy changing me, but other than that, I'm satisfied with how things are going.

I had visitors yesterday from the Lyngar family and today from the McKenna family. I guess I'm kind of a "big deal". Everyone thinks I'm so small and cute and mostly say I look like my daddy except that I have my mommy's lips.

I tried on some of my newborn clothes today but most of them are too big and I think mom needs to buy me som premie clothes. I might get my first trip to Target tomorrow.

Going Home

After a fabulous 4 day stay at the hotel Good Sam, it's time to go home to show the doggies our new addition...

Our last day in the hospital

I had some visitors today, they all think I'm just the cutest little bundle!









All this socializing wears me out...

These guys wrap me up like a burrito, but it's no match for my determination. I pull my arms out of my swaddle within a few minutes, ah sweet freedom!


Daddy is already wrapped round my little fingers, but he needs a little more practice with my diapers. I'll be giving him a ton of practice!

Day 2

It's very hard to believe that Summer has only been with us 2 days, she's been such a great baby, sleeping a ton and making the cutest little baby noises. Momma is doing amazing too, she's walking down the hall already! Both have been cleared to go home tomorrow morning (Thursday). Here are some more pics...

Almost there

We're 2 days away from a major life change!! We are as prepared as you can get without going through the experience. We've read books, heard advice/opinions etc. on every pregnancy topic there is, and now the nursery is ready. All we need is baby...
