Well this week I reached a couple more milestones. I am now sitting up on my own (I still fall over sometimes) and I started eating bananas. I really liked when mommy mixed them with my cereal.
Next up, applesauce!

Rollin', rollin', rollin'
For the past couple months I've been perfecting my rolling over and now I'm working on trying to crawl. Mommy's hoping I don't figure that out too soon otherwise she'll have to start baby-proofing the house.
Here's some video of me rolling around and doing my 180 turns.

My new tricks
Over the past month or so I've been learning some new tricks that I thought I'd share. One of the tricks my mom taught me. She was making fish lips at me and I thought it was so funny so I started trying to do it whenever mommy does it.
The other trick I learned on my own. Every time mommy or daddy changes my diaper or try to change my clothes I stick my toes in my mouth and suck on them. Mommy thinks its gross but cute at the same time.
Anyway, here are some pictures of my new tricks.

I'm a big girl now (well kinda)

I'm 5 months old now and mommy and daddy thought it would be a good time to move me from my bassinet to my crib. Well, I wasn't having any of that! Mommy tried to make me sleep in my crib a few nights but I put up a really good fight (and screamed as loud as I could for 30 minutes)so she decided that having me sleep through the night was much more important and put me back in my bassinet next to her.
She is making me play and take my naps in my crib so I can get used to it. Next week she says she is going to start putting my bassinet in my room at night to see if I'll sleep through the night in it. What she doesn't realize is that I'm on to her new strategy and I have no plans to sleep by myself in that room anytime soon:).
Here's a shot of me playing in my crib with some of my favorite toys.
Talk to you soon,

Well not exactly. We weren't there on Christmas day but we went there on Dec. 27th and Grammy and Granddad had saved all our presents to open for us so it was kinda like Christmas.
This was my first Christmas and I had so much fun. I met a bunch of my daddy's side of the family and got to see what a real Kansas farm looks like. I'm hoping next time I go back my grammy and granddad have a goat for me to play with (hint, hint).
I want to say thank you to everyone for all the beautiful and thoughtful gifts I received. I must have been very good because I certainly received a bunch of cool things and cute clothes just like I hoped for:).
Above are a bunch of pictures from our trip to Kansas. Enjoy and Happy New Year!!
