Fun in The Sun in Scottsdale, AZ

This week mommy and I went to Scottsdale, AZ to meet up with Nana Kris. We're staying at the Sheraton Desert Oasis and it has a really cool pool, splash pool and two playgrounds. It's been 105 degrees everyday since we got here, but its a dry heat:). We go to the pool a couple times a day and I've made friends with a few different boys and play with them at the pool. Mostly I try to steal their toys and then their mommy makes them share with me. I love the pool and jumping off the side into mommy or Nana Kris's arms.

On Friday we're heading to Prescott, AZ to visit my aunt Betsy and uncle Bill. They haven't met me yet, but I'm sure they're going to love me!

Here's some video of me swimming with Nana Kris and playing with two of my new friends. Mommy had to upload it on Flickr because Blogger wouldn't work.

My First Golf Tournament and Lake Fun!

This week has been another action-packed week. Mommy took me to a really cool park called Pine Lake. It is close to our house, right on the lake and has really clean water and two fun play structures and a beach. I loved it and can't wait to go back.

This week in our town is the Boeing Classic Golf Tournament so we went and checked it out yesterday. Our house is adjacent to the 18th hole so its very convenient. We sat at the clubhouse and watched the action at the 18th hole. I've come to the conclusion that there isn't much action in golf and I got bored really fast. Here are some pictures from both events and a picture of me walking my dog Molly.

View of our house (yellow one in center) from the clubhouse

View of our dream house on 18th hole from the clubhouse (its for sale and mommy says amazingly affordable compared to CA prices!)

View of 18th hole and Cascade Mts. from clubhouse (does it get any better than this? We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place).

Pine Lake

Walking Molly (notice moving truck in background. Another neighbor sold their gorgeous home on golf course for a loss to go back to Denver and escape the harsh winters here).

Our Trip to Portland

This week we went to Portland, Oregon for Daddy's work conference. Mommy and I hung out shopping and walking around the city while Daddy worked. It was really hot while we were there so mommy took me for a walk to the park on the waterfront and we found this cool outdoor fountain. There were a bunch of kids running through the fountain so I decided to join in. I walked right in my dress and everything! I had so much fun that Mommy and Daddy took me back the next day again. We also rented a bike and rode all around the waterfront area. I loved sitting in the front and checking out the sights. Then, on our last day we went to the Portland Zoo. I saw the cutest baby elephant and other animals that I've never seen before.

When I travel I like to start the trip out by making a huge mess of the hotel room. I especially like getting into Mommy's suitcase and pulling all the clothes out. Mom and Dad said I'll probably grow up to be a rock star based on how I can destroy a hotel room in record time!

Enjoy my pictures.

Mr. Bunny: Before and After

My favorite toy and companion is my bunny. My aunt Cel and uncle Ted sent me him before I was born and he has become my constant companion. I sleep with him, suck on his ears and tail and take him everywhere with me. Mommy and daddy were concerned that we might lose him (like they lost one of my other favorite bunnies) so daddy found the exact same one on the Internet and it arrived today.

Below is a picture of what Mr. bunny looked like when I first got him and what he looks like now after a year of sucking on him and washing him at least once a week (because his ears and tail smell so bad from sucking them!).

The funny thing is mommy had a bunny, she named Cabbage, when she was a baby and slept with him every night (even took him on business trips) until she was 22! She said he was originally pink just like my bunny but by the time she threw him away (which she regrets now), he looked just like my bunny.

Lovin' My Radio Flyer

I love my new Radio Flyer wagon so much that I've started hanging out in it in the house and today I ate my lunch while in it! Mommy filled it with balls today just to make it even more exciting for me!
