Our Home Away From Home

Well, we're still in Bellevue, WA trying to find a home to live in. I guess nobody wants to rent to a family with 3 dogs. So for now we have a corporate apartment that daddy's new company put us in. We may have to live here for a while until we can find a place for our brood of dogs.

It's not that bad actually, I like it. We have two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the 5th floor overlooking downtown Bellevue. There's a grocery store attached to the building, I have lots of room to crawl around and right across the street is a big park for our dogs if they come live here. Oh, and mommy likes that the mall is also right across the street. Daddy says that could be trouble, especially on rainy days (and we get lots of them here!).

Here are some pictures of our temporary home (check out daddy's Rock Band drum set, he found space in his suitcase to pack that). I'll keep you posted on our house hunting. Hopefully we'll know this week if we can get one we looked at this weekend.

No Rest for the Weary...

These videos pretty much sum up my daily life right now. I am cruising around everywhere and soon will be walking if I have anything to say about it. I like to drag my bunny around with me when I'm on the move just in case I need something soft to fall on.

Mommy and daddy bought me a couple of new toys to keep me entertained. As you can see in the videos, they sure do. I'm still a bit afraid of the rocking horse so I don't spend too much time on that yet, but I really like my musical walker. Mommy's been teaching me how to walk and play at the same time! She says being able to multi-task is an important skill to have in life.

My favorite place is the kitchen because there is always so much action going on in there with the dogs. I like to play with their food bowls and mommy gives me Tupperware to bang around sometimes.

Well enjoy the video and I'll keep you posted on our move to the Seattle area. Daddy left tonight to start his new job tomorrow and mommy and I are joining him on Wednesday to keep house-hunting. This will be my 4th airplane trip! I am a world traveler (well, a U.S. one anyway).

I'm a Swinger Now!

This week mommy and daddy took me to the park and put me on the swings. I loved it even though I seem more interested in watching all the other kids playing.

Here's some video of me trying not to laugh at daddy while he was swinging me.

The Traveling Wilburys...

My first black eye!

At Diane's in Huntington Beach, CA

Playing around after my bath in the hotel

Well this past week has been another whirlwind. It started last Saturday when me, mommy, daddy and Nana Kris (who is visiting from Cape Cod) headed to Santa Monica and Dana Point for a few days. We met up with some of mommy and daddy's friends in Santa Monica and Huntington Beach and went out to lunch and dinners, walked on the beach and hung out at our hotels. The weather was amazing, almost 80 degrees!

Then we came home for one day and headed back out on the road to Seattle, WA. It was alot of fun but I had a little accident. While playing in the hotel room I fell and hit my head on the side of the bed and got my first black eye! That wasn't very fun and mommy and daddy didn't appreciate the stares they got when people saw me. They felt like child abusers and had to explain to everyone that stared at us what really happened.

Anyway, here are some pics from our week. We're all exhausted and happy to be home for a while and get back into our normal routine. Nana Kris and Poppa are still here visiting so we'll have some more fun tomorrow hanging out with them.

Talk to you soon,

6 Months: Crawling, Standing and Teeth Oh My!

Well this past month has been a big month of milestones. My 6th month started off with my two bottom teeth coming out and then a week or so later I started crawling and now I am pulling myself up to standing on everything. Next up, more teeth (mom's pretty sure because I have not been sleeping well and keeping her up all night!) and hopefully more hair (mommmy hopes for that).
Here are some pictures of me in various stages of my 6th month of life.
