I'm a Swinger Now!

This week mommy and daddy took me to the park and put me on the swings. I loved it even though I seem more interested in watching all the other kids playing.

Here's some video of me trying not to laugh at daddy while he was swinging me.

Playing around after my bath in the hotel

Well this past week has been another whirlwind. It started last Saturday when me, mommy, daddy and Nana Kris (who is visiting from Cape Cod) headed to Santa Monica and Dana Point for a few days. We met up with some of mommy and daddy's friends in Santa Monica and Huntington Beach and went out to lunch and dinners, walked on the beach and hung out at our hotels. The weather was amazing, almost 80 degrees!

Then we came home for one day and headed back out on the road to Seattle, WA. It was alot of fun but I had a little accident. While playing in the hotel room I fell and hit my head on the side of the bed and got my first black eye! That wasn't very fun and mommy and daddy didn't appreciate the stares they got when people saw me. They felt like child abusers and had to explain to everyone that stared at us what really happened.

Anyway, here are some pics from our week. We're all exhausted and happy to be home for a while and get back into our normal routine. Nana Kris and Poppa are still here visiting so we'll have some more fun tomorrow hanging out with them.

Talk to you soon,

6 Months: Crawling, Standing and Teeth Oh My!

Well this past month has been a big month of milestones. My 6th month started off with my two bottom teeth coming out and then a week or so later I started crawling and now I am pulling myself up to standing on everything. Next up, more teeth (mom's pretty sure because I have not been sleeping well and keeping her up all night!) and hopefully more hair (mommmy hopes for that).
Here are some pictures of me in various stages of my 6th month of life.

Las Madres Play Time

Yesterday mommy took me to the Las Madres play time. Now that I'm crawling I like it even more because there are so many toys to play with that I don't have at home. One of the other mommy brought bubbles and we all tried to catch them and then got bored with it after about 5 minutes.

Hey, I want that toy!

Having fun with all my new friends

Busy Weekend of Fun

Laughing at doggies

Well this week didn't start off that well as I got my first cold. I wasn't feeling too great at the beginning of the week but by FridayI felt a little better. Mommy took me to my first story time for infants at our local library. We sang songs and a nice lady read some books to us.

Then on Saturday mommy hosted a playdate with some of her friends from Yahoo! and their kids. Mommy made home-made red velvet cupcakes for everyone (even though I didn't get to taste any!) and we played with my toys and got to see Terrell's brand new two-week old baby Gavin. And on Saturday night, Valentine's Day, we went to dinner with uncle Rick and auntie Bernie.

And Sunday, we just hung around the house because it was pouring rain outside. Daddy got me laughing when he started feeding the doggies some of my puffs. It was so funny watching them try to catch them in the air.

Today we're going to take a drive up to the hills around us and see the snow!
